Laura is a multilingual food writer, broadcaster and author of Single Bald Female. She produces her own podcast, Life in Food with Laura Price, and hosts the Breast Cancer Now Podcast.
Laura worked for The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, Bloomberg News and Facebook for 15 years before becoming a freelance food, travel and lifestyle writer and consultant in 2019. Her work appears in publications including 50 Best, Waitrose Food, Stylist, Red and The Telegraph. Laura also commissions and edits travel and restaurant content in her role as Associate Features Editor for Waitrose Food, the UK’s biggest food magazine.
In 2022, Laura launched her independent podcast, Life in Food with Laura Price, where she speaks to big-name guests about love, friendship and grief through a culinary lens. Episodes have included Food and Love with Dominique Crenn, Food and Cancer with Kris Hallenga and Food and Fashion with Lauren Bravo.
Laura is an experienced public speaker who has presented at culinary events and women’s leadership forums from Bangkok to Bogotá, Melbourne to Milan. She played a key role in the development of Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants, curating and hosting events across the region. She is also a qualified translator.
Laura’s debut novel, Single Bald Female, was published in 2022. She is represented by literary agent Sophie Lambert at C&W, and is working on further fiction and non-fiction books.
